Core Belief

My body is changing a little at a time, but at least it’s changing. I can feel the core of my body underneath what I like to call my fat suit. It’s kind of weird but I can tell looking in the mirror where my body will be once the fat is gone. Now I just need to get the fat to melt away. I feel like I’m plateauing. I’m going to have to figure a way to change things up. I want my spare tire gone. And my goal for this month is to lose 20 pounds by the beginning of October. I know it can be done it’s just going to take focus and hard work. I thing I’m going to have to give up most of the carbs I eat like bread and pasta and see if that helps. Not completely but pick better options like the low carb buns and pitas instead of regular bread and tortillas. Or even using lettuce to make wraps instead of a flour based product. Plus I really need to drink as much water as possible. Anyone got any ideas for changing up a workout? I’ve added interval training when I’m doing my cardio. Which has helped me shorten my mile time, but I’m also getting bored doing the same old thing. I try to change up what muscle groups I work when I do my lifting. Maybe I need to through some yoga into the mix or something. That definitely increases core strength too. I will have more time once school starts for my youngin :) but for the next week I’m going to have to stick to my current program of going to the gym in the evening. I did do a workout at home yesterday using the bands I just bought and using the ottoman as a step/bench to work out the legs a bit, but it wasn’t quite as good a workout as going to the gym. I just wasn’t able to go to the gym last night so I thought better then nothing. So please if you have any other ideas on a fun work out please let me know. Thanks!

One Response to “Core Belief”

  1. 20 pounds in one month is pretty aggressive, especially since you’re already several months into your program, and it makes allot more sense to define a healthy living plan before you actually set goals.

    just my $0.02, good luck,
